St. Robert’s International College Basic Education Department Open High School Senior High School Program Iloilo City, Iloilo Province, and Romblon

St. Robert’s International College proudly offers its Open High School Program (OHS) for Senior High School students, providing a transformative and accessible learning model under the Department of Education’s Alternative Delivery Modes (ADMs). This innovative program is designed for learners who benefit from flexible education pathways, including face-to-face, modular, independent, and online learning systems. With official authorization from the DepEd Regional Office (RO-6 QAD-I-176), SRIC ensures compliance with national standards while embracing adaptive learning practices

Expanding Reach Across Key Locations

The program is offered at three key sites: SRIC Iloilo City for Regular Senior High School enrollees; Romblon under the Esteban S. Madrona Sr. School of Governance (ESMSG) in partnership with Congressman Eleandro Jesus F. Madrona; and Iloilo Province through the SRB Scholarship Sites located in Janiuay, Calinog, and Lambunao. Each location provides students with unique opportunities to achieve their academic goals within a supportive and flexible learning environment.

Academic Excellence through Specialized Strands

SRIC offers a comprehensive Senior High School curriculum under the Robert F. Galindez Development School (RFGDS), preparing students to be employable and college-ready. The school offers the following strands: General Academic Strand (GAS), Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM), Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), and Information and Communications Technology (ICT). These tracks are complemented with business research, social science, and natural science courses to ensure a well-rounded academic experience.

Standard-Aligned Curriculum and Evaluation

The program follows the DepEd Order No. 021, s. 2019 and DepEd Region VI Memorandum No. 127, s. 2015, which guide the delivery of the K-12 Basic Education Program. Regular term evaluations, such as midterm and final exams, are conducted online to provide convenient yet standardized assessment for all learners.

Supportive Homeroom Advisory System

Students enrolled under the Open High School Program are included in SRIC Iloilo’s official homeroom advisory lists. Homeroom advisers play a critical role in preparing DepEd forms, guiding academic progress, and fostering communication between the school and families. Monthly in-person enrichment activities also promote community spirit and Robertine values.

Permits & Licenses: DepEd Open High School Program (OHS/MISOSA)

The Open High School Program (OHS) is an alternative delivery mode (ADM) recognized and permitted by the Department of Education (DepEd).
It is designed for learners within and outside the Philippines who require flexible learning arrangements. Offered in line with the K-12 Basic Education Curriculum,
this program caters to students who can adapt to various modes of instruction—face-to-face, modular, independent learning, or online learning systems.
