The Basic Education Department – Open High School (OHS) Romblon Esteban S. Madrona Sr. School of Governance (ESMSG) of St. Robert’s International College is an extended services through the Office of Congressman Eleandro Jesus F. Madrona by offering St. Robert Bellarmine (SRB) Scholarship Fund that operates under the Alternative Delivery Modes (ADMs) Program, offering a flexible academic pathway aligned with the DepEd K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum.
This is an academic program in conjunction with the K-12 Curriculum for learners who can adapt with varied mode of instruction like face to face, modular, independent learning or via online learning system. SRIC has secured and authorization for this operation from the DepEd Regional Office with document number RO-6 QAD-I- 176.
The Robert F. Galindez Development School (RFGDS) or Senior High School primarily aims to produce employable and college ready learners. The department offers the academic strands: General Academic Strand (GAS), Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM), Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMMS), Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) of the Technical- Vocational- Livelihood (TVL) Track. Industry exposure, practicum, and international immersion are given premium; as well as competence in Social Science, Natural Science and Business Research.
St. Robert’s International College offers a comprehensive Alternative Delivery Modes (ADMs) program for Senior High School (SHS) learners, is a special program by the Department of Education for students who cannot attend regular classes. It allows them to study at home using modules or via online class and only go to learning centers for masterclasses or consultations. It is free, flexible, and helps students finish high school even if they have work, health issues, or live far away. It aims to reduce dropouts and make education more accessible for everyone.
In Romblon, this program is offered through St. Robert’s International College (SRIC) under the Esteban S. Madrona School of Governance. It provides free tuition, printed modules, online learning with internet load allowance, and weekend sessions in learning centers located in different municipalities of Romblon.
Students can choose from Academic strands such as STEM, GAS, ABM, and HUMSS, or the Tech-Voc ICT strand. The program is ideal for Grade 10 completers from public schools in Romblon who need a more flexible way to continue their senior high school education.

SRIC OHS Romblon Program curriculum and grading system is in line with the standard DepEd Curriculum (DepEd Order No.021, s. 2019, Policy Guidelines on the K-12 Basic Education Program).
The Grade 11-12 Senior High School (RFGDS) follows the mandated DepEd Region VI Unified Senior High School Curriculum (DepEd Regional Memorandum Order No. 127, s. 2015).
The OHS Program of St. Robert’s International College (SRIC) follows a structured class schedule that adheres to the Department of Education’s prescribed number of instructional minutes per subject area, ensuring full compliance with national standards. Classes are conducted from Monday to Friday through a blended learning modality, combining modular, and online instructional approaches to maximize learner engagement and flexibility. In addition to academic instruction, the program incorporates institutional enrichment activities aimed at enhancing learners’ personal development, civic responsibility, and practical skills aligned with the core competencies of the SHS curriculum.
The SRIC OHS Romblon Program students are provided with access to library of learning resources—including PowerPoint presentations, worksheets, and interactive activities—through a designated Learning Management System (LMS).
This platform serves as a centralized hub where students can conveniently access course materials, complete assignments, and engage in supplementary learning at their own pace, thereby supporting independent study and reinforcing concepts introduced in the recorded lessons.
Term evaluations are given twice each term—Midterm and Finals. These assessments are conducted online through the Learning Management System (LMS), allowing students to complete their exams in a structured digital environment that ensures accessibility, convenience, and timely submission of their responses.
Students will have a quarterly in-person gathering, which may be academic in nature or designed for socialization, with the aim of fostering community building and strengthening the Robertine spirit among the learners.
In addition, SRIC OHS Romblon Program students are encouraged to participate virtually in institutional activities of SRIC-Iloilo City, such as the annual Robertine Week, SRB League Inter-Campus Competitions, and Year-End Rites.
